We go back to school: portfolio optimization for StudyGo
Squla you probably know. With educational quizzes and games, Squla lets elementary school children learn through play. StudyGo(formerly WRTS) is Squla's big brother offering high school students online homework help. In the dynamic market of online learning tools, StudyGo faces the challenge of modernizing itself to strengthen its market position. But where do you start?
Challenge
It seems logical that StudyGo will focus on the features that are valuable to students and their parents. Students themselves know well what they can use with their homework, but it is the parents who pay the bills. Blauw helped StudyGo set up the portfolio.

Solution
In the study, we involved both the young people and their parents. Through a MaxDiff exercise among the youngsters, for example, it became clear that good summaries of the learning material are in high demand. The parental research also included willingness to pay. Conjoint research is the method used here to measure the value of the learning packages. This shows that parents especially value the practice opportunities.
Result
Based on the research , four packages were colored. In addition to an attractive free (freemium) package, the three paid packages are built on the good-better-best principle. The four packages now contain nice updated elements. In doing so, Blauw has hopefully made a small contribution to easing the already tough lives of homework-minded students.
